Freed human rights activist Uladz Labkovich spoke about the conditions of detention of political prisoner Andrzej Poczobut in penal colony No. 1 in Novopolotsk at a press conference.

"He is constantly in a PKT (ÐÐТ) â this is a cell-type room, a prison regime inside the colony. It is more difficult than the usual prison regime in prisons where you are permanently held. I have experienced both, so I can compare.
He had good health, at least as of September. The last I know, he is fine, very positive."
Labkovich also confirmed that Mikalai Statkevich was returned to prison after he refused to be deported from Belarus with other freed political prisoners in September.
