On the night of December 17, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Oil Refinery in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban (Krasnodar Krai). The city administration confirmed the attack and reported that about 40,000 people were left without electricity.

The General Staff of the AFU reported an attack on the Slavyansk Oil Refinery. The plant processes up to 5.2 million tons of oil per year and is involved in supplying Russian troops.
Due to debris from AFU drones, equipment and a pipeline at the oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban caught fire, confirmed the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai.
In the city, after the strike, about 40,000 people were left without electricity. Also, after a UAV fell in the same area, two people were injured and hospitalized.
After the drone attack in the Voronezh region, power lines were also damaged, governor Alexander Gusev stated.
