Can a person be denied entry to a store five minutes before closing?
If a store is officially open, for example, until 10:00 PM, it must provide access to customers for the entire stated operating time. This was stated to sb.by by Yulia Epikhava, a lawyer from specialized legal consultation No. 2 of the Minsk City Bar Association.

According to the lawyer, this requirement stems from Article 9 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights".
Retail trade rules also prohibit stopping people's access to the sales floor just because closing time is approaching.
At the same time, approximately 10 minutes before closing, store employees may warn visitors that the store will close soon. However, service must continue until the officially established closing time.
