Plane with Libyan Chief of General Staff on board crashes in Turkey
A plane carrying the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan army disappeared from radars over Turkey. Turkish media reported this.

The plane departed from Ankara airport, after which it ceased to be detected by radar systems. Due to the incident, Turkish authorities temporarily closed the airspace over the capital.
According to Gündem 7x24, search and rescue services have found the wreckage of the plane. The remains of the aircraft were reportedly discovered in the province of Ankara.
The Turkish Minister of Interior announced that there were five people on board the plane, including the head of the Libyan General Staff, General Mohamed Ali al-Haddad. Earlier that day, he had met with the Turkish Minister of Defense.
