A hare trapped in a snare was rescued in the center of Babruysk VIDEO
On April 24, an unusual operation took place at the Dunin-Martsinkevich Bobruysk Drama Theater to rescue a hare that had fallen into the building's pit. Tatsiana Murmantsava, head of the theater's literary department, told about this incident, writes Bobr.by.

Around three in the afternoon, a young man approached the theater administration and asked for help. It turned out that his girlfriend had noticed a wild hare trapped in a narrow pit near the building, from which it could not escape on its own.
The guy was driving from Minsk at that moment, but as soon as he arrived in Babruysk, he immediately went to rescue the animal.
According to the theater employee, the hare sat motionless and barely showed signs of life, so it might have gone unnoticed for a long time. At first, they thought of opening the window that opens into the theater, but later abandoned this idea, as catching a frightened hare in a large room would be much more difficult.
Then they had to lift the grate and go down. The rescuer covered the hare with a blanket, which is usually used here to collect leaves and branches. The animal began to struggle and even made a sound, but the man confidently wrapped it in the fabric and carried it out onto the grass.
Once free, the long-eared animal swiftly hopped into the park.
Tatsiana Murmantsava noted that, unfortunately, she did not learn the name of this young man, but was very impressed by his responsiveness and ability to handle a wild animal.
She expressed hope that the hare rested under a bush until evening, and by nightfall went towards the Berezina.
