Two students in a Vitebsk college broke through a door and were cut by glass
In September of this year, an incident occurred in the academic building of one of Vitebsk colleges – two teenagers sustained serious injuries. One of them was walking quickly down the corridor and crashed into an office door, breaking its glass.

As a result, two students were injured – they received cut wounds. Both were hospitalized, where they received stitches, the prosecutor's office reports.
Despite the seriousness of the incident, the college administration violated the requirements of the Ministry of Education's resolution. An inspection revealed the concealment of the accident. In particular, only one injured person was recorded in the microtrauma registration log.
And the wounds themselves were classified as "microtraumas," which allowed the institution to avoid conducting a mandatory special investigation. Furthermore, the legal representatives of the injured children and higher authorities were not properly informed about the incident.
As a result, at the request of the Vitebsk City Prosecutor's Office, four officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility for violating the established procedure for investigating and registering accidents.
