"The apartment was cluttered." A person died in a fire in Minsk's Kurasoŭščyna
The fire occurred yesterday in one of the apartments in a house on Kazintsa Street, 49.

The message to the Ministry of Emergency Situations was received at 12:34. Rescuers headed to the scene and found unusually thick smoke, which literally engulfed the entire building, reports Onliner.by with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

During the extinguishing of the fire, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees found a man and a woman unconscious. They were carried out into the fresh air and handed over to an ambulance crew. Both regained consciousness and were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
It is noted that the apartment was heavily cluttered. This caused the thick smoke, which hindered extinguishing efforts. While clearing the burnt property, under a pile of debris, rescuers discovered the body of a man — the apartment owner. Medics pronounced him dead.

Specialists determined that the fire started in one of the rooms and on the balcony. As a result of the fire in the three-room apartment, property was damaged, and the walls and ceiling were blackened. The cause of the tragedy is being investigated by specialists.
