Guy in the center of Minsk snatched expensive glasses from a girl
A 27-year-old guy was resting at night with a friend on Zybitskaya Street, where he met an 18-year-old girl. She had famous brand glasses, which the suspect liked very much — he even asked permission to try them on, Minsk-news reports .
In the morning, when the establishments closed, the friends followed the new acquaintance. The three of them were walking along Maksim Bahdanovich Street. Suddenly, the guy snatched the glasses from the girl's head and put them on. Afterwards, he asked his friend to call a taxi.
The girl began to demand the accessory back, but the suspect rudely replied to her, got into the arriving car, and drove home.
The girl contacted the police, estimating the damage caused to her at 500 rubles. The suspect's identity was quickly established, and a criminal case was opened.
He has been charged with open theft of property (robbery, Part 1, Article 206 of the Criminal Code, the sanction for which is up to four years of imprisonment). He fully admitted his guilt.
A preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and to observe good conduct has been applied to the accused.
