Fingerprint allowed to catch money thief in Mosty

A resident of Mosty turned to the local police department with a statement about the theft of 240 rubles from her wallet.

This is what happened. Returning home, she saw that she had lost her backpack with her wallet. After retracing her route, she found the backpack, but there was no money in the wallet.

An investigative and operational group conducted an inspection of the scene, and a hand fingerprint was found on the victim's personal belongings by an expert, reports the State Committee of Forensic Examinations.

As a result of the examination, a match was found with the fingerprints of a man born in 1968, about which forensic experts informed the operational duty unit of the Mosty District Department of Internal Affairs. The man was detained.
