SBU detained a Ukrainian woman accused of directing Russian strikes on Kyiv's thermal power plants
According to counterintelligence data, the woman adjusted air attacks on Kyiv's energy infrastructure and spied on the movement of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment.

According to the SBU, the FSB agent was a resident of Rivne region. From her curators in Russia, she allegedly received tasks to send photos, videos, and coordinates of Kyiv's thermal power plants, which the Russians were preparing to strike.
The woman attracted the attention of Russian special services when she was looking for easy earnings in Telegram channels.
According to the SBU, after recruitment, she was "dispatched" to the Kyiv region, where she toured local thermal power plants and recorded their technical condition after Russian attacks.
She also received assignments in the Odesa and Chernihiv regions, which are also subjected to massive strikes, including on energy facilities.
The woman allegedly settled in a hotel or rented accommodation near the objects of interest to her curators and observed them or installed surveillance equipment with direct data transmission to the FSB.
“To collect intelligence in the Odesa region, she first settled in a hotel room with a view of the local Ukrzaliznytsia station. From the window of the accommodation, the agent monitored the movement of trains with military equipment towards the front,” the SBU describes the methods of the Russian agent.
Further, the SBU states, the person involved arrived in the Chernihiv region and rented an apartment near the highway. On the windowsill of the temporary accommodation, she allegedly installed a phone camera with a remote access function for the FSB.
