Fire at a shoe factory in Uzda

On January 27, a shoe factory caught fire in the district center of Uzda. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire broke out in the administrative part of the workshop where shoe blanks are sewn.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no casualties. Rescuers continue to douse and dismantle the building's structures. Seven units of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are involved at the scene.

Recently, fires at industrial facilities have become more frequent in Belarus: the day before, emergencies occurred at the Beryozovskaya GRES and at one of the enterprises in Gomel.
