UN General Assembly voted for peace in Ukraine. Belarus was against it
On February 24, the UN General Assembly approved the resolution "Support for lasting peace in Ukraine," initiated by the Ukrainian side. 107 states voted for the document, 51 countries abstained, and 12 opposed it.

Belarus was among those who, along with Russia, voted against the resolution. Burkina Faso, Burundi, Iran, DPRK, Cuba, Mali, Niger, Nicaragua, Sudan, and Eritrea also unequivocally sided with Russia.
The United States of America abstained from voting. Armenia, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the monarchies of the Middle East were also among those who abstained. Azerbaijan ignored the vote, and Slovakia voted for it.
