"Burn in hell, scum!" How Saladukha went to complain to the KGB about popular love

Former political prisoner Ihar Losik told an amusing story on his Telegram channel about how pro-government singer Alexander Saladukha first blossomed like May lilac after rain in a KGB investigator's office, and then almost fainted.

Alexander Saladukha

Now I'll tell you how Alexander Saladukha went to the KGB to complain about phone trolls. The story comes from a former KGB officer who is now imprisoned for political reasons himself. This plot alone is worthy of a movie adaptation.

Minsk, 2020. KGB investigator's office.

The door slowly opens. The office is illuminated by a dazzling light. It's the snow-white smile of Sasha Saladukha's artificial teeth.

At the threshold stands the artist himself, accompanied by his two sons, as if a support group and a group of witnesses simultaneously.

From the threshold – a slight bow and without the slightest pause:

— Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Saladukha! And here, by the way, is my disc with an autograph.

The investigator loses touch with reality for a second, then carefully asks for the reason for the visit.

Saladukha, dramatically sighing, begins to complain:

— These 'fighters' are constantly ringing my phone! They insult me, shame me, it's impossible to live and work at all!

And then, as if on cue – a call.

Saladukha raises a finger:

— Here! Look! Now you'll see everything yourselves! I'm putting it on speakerphone!

A man's voice is heard from the receiver, soft, almost trembling with excitement:

— Alexander Antonovich?

— Yes, I'm listening.

— My God, how glad I am to have reached you... You have no idea how much I adore you. I know all your albums by heart. My mother and I have been to dozens of your concerts. You are a wonderful artist. My mother loves you very much too…

Saladukha's face slowly begins to bloom, like May lilac after rain.

He looks triumphantly at the investigator, straightens his shoulders, his smile becomes even whiter.

Against this backdrop, his sons are already starting to giggle suspiciously.

The voice on the phone continues, pouring on the praise:

— God, how happy I am to have reached you... I have so much to tell you... But the most important thing for you to know is…

A pause.

And then, like a shot in the quiet office:

— Burn in hell, scum.

Saladukha – semi-conscious.

His sons are dying of laughter under the table.

The KGB investigator, probably for the first time in his service, didn't know whether to take a statement or call for doctors.
