Three weather balloons landed in Bialystok

Three weather balloons with cargo landed on Gajowa Street on the outskirts of Bialystok, reported the police of Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland.

The police did not specify what was in the weather balloons or where they came from; however, recently, contraband cigarettes have been delivered from the territory of Belarus using such balloons.

Incursions of weather balloons into Polish territory have been recorded since the end of December.
