The Belarusian community in the center of Białystok commemorated the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Belarusian People's Republic on March 22.

The event was organized by the Belarusian diaspora of Białystok, the "Tutaka" foundation, and the city authorities of Białystok, reports the "Belarusians Abroad" Telegram channel.
Representatives of the local authorities addressed the participants with greetings.
During the rally, representatives of the Belarusian diaspora, the Belarusian national minority in Poland, and also the Ukrainian diaspora spoke from the stage.
During the event, participants unfurled a large white-red-white flag, and the famous "Mury" (Walls) was performed from the stage — in Belarusian and Polish.
