Belarusian volunteer Gerard arrested in Ukraine. He allegedly had about a million euros with him
He once gained fame when he arrived in the Kursk region on a tank.

Alexander "Gerard" Krasouski
It has become known about the arrest in Ukraine of the 40-year-old Belarusian volunteer Alexander "Gerard" Krasouski. This was reported by volunteer Dzianis Urbanovich, and the information was confirmed to "Nasha Niva" by other servicemen.
According to them, investigators came to Krasouski on March 14, 2026. He is currently in a pre-trial detention center.
Servicemen report that during a search, Gerard allegedly had unregistered weapons, as well as about 1 million euros. It is unknown whether these are his funds or someone else's. He is also suspected of unauthorized abandonment of a unit (but, possibly, the situation is due to a bureaucratic misunderstanding between servicemen) and resale of some trophies.
Gerard recounted in earlier interviews that he is originally from Minsk. In 2020, he was detained several times, after which the man decided to leave Belarus and eventually ended up in Ukraine. Initially, he escorted refugees to Poland, and later joined Belarusian volunteers as part of "Azov."
For some time, Gerard served among the Kalinouski Regiment fighters, and later joined the 225th separate assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, where he eventually led the "Tour" unit. In 2024, Belarusians from "Tour" were among the Ukrainian Armed Forces warriors who entered the territory of the Kursk region. At the same time, the famous video appeared with a tank under a white-red-white flag, allegedly filmed in the Kursk region, but in reality — in the Sumy region.
Recently, Gerard has been involved in the evacuation of the wounded.
