Galatasaray player loses part of finger after collision with advertising hoard in Champions League match
To avoid falling, Noah Lang braced himself with his hand — due to the strong impact, part of his finger was literally severed by the corner of the hoard.

The 26-year-old Dutch forward of the Turkish club, Noah Lang, lost part of his finger during a crucial 1/8 final Champions League match against Liverpool (0:4), writes Sport.ua.
10 minutes before the end of regular time, the forward couldn't keep the ball in play, lost his balance, and collided with an advertising hoard. To avoid falling, Noah braced himself with his hand — due to the strong impact, part of his finger was literally severed by the corner of the hoard.
Due to this incident, Lang lost consciousness for a few seconds. Medics quickly rushed to his aid, and Mauro Icardi replaced Noah on the field.

After the match, the Dutchman was sent to the hospital for surgery.
Liverpool won the tie against Galatasaray with an aggregate score of 4:1 and will face French club PSG in the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition.
