The meeting will discuss the incident involving an officially unknown object that crashed and exploded last night in the Varena district, near Lake Lavisas, close to the Belarusian border. It was likely an unmanned aerial vehicle that flew in from Belarusian territory.
Inga Ruginiene claims that the incident does not threaten the safety of local residents. In addition, she promises that the military will share information with the public regularly and as quickly as possible.
