What is known about Maksim Palianski and Mikalai Svirydau — Belarusian climbers who disappeared in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan
Searches have been ongoing for almost a week.
Three experienced tourists — two from Belarus and one from Lithuania — disappeared in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan after ascending Peak Karumdu. On August 1st at 10:30 AM, they reached the summit. They ascended via the northern ridge. On August 2nd, they reported that they would be ready for departure on August 4th. There was no further communication. The driver arrived at the agreed meeting point on August 4th and 5th, but the group did not emerge.
Maksim Palianski is 43 years old. He lives in Kalodzishchy. He graduated from the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Electronics at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. By profession, he is a design engineer.
Maksim loves active recreation. He traveled extensively across Belarus by bicycle, kayak, skis, and on foot. He also traveled abroad to the mountains.
60-year-old Mikalai Svirydau is from Salihorsk. He has a higher technical education and works as an engineer.
Mikalai holds the title of Candidate Master of Sport in tourism and a first-grade rank in mountaineering (at least as of 2016). He has been involved in mountaineering since his youth and leads expeditions himself. In addition, he runs marathons, goes on multi-day hikes, and rafts down rivers.
Both men hold the title "Snow Leopard", meaning they have ascended all five seven-thousanders located on the territory of the former USSR.
A fundraiser has been opened to assist with the search.

Хаця ўвогуле вось гэтае тупое агрэсіўнае цкаванне ад абывацеляў, якое пачынаецца кожны раз (дзясяткі год) пры навінах з турызму, мне нагадвае траўлю пратэстоўцаў.
Ну тое ж самае: калі чалавек не можа зразумець матывацыю таго, каго затрымалі, ён рэжа прыгаворамі "сам ведаў, што тут могуць і схапіць, пасадзіць, пабіць" і г.д.
Такая вось дасяжная аналогія для наведвальнікаў палітычнага рэсурсу.
Калі асабіста не чапляе, можна не злараднічаць, а адысці ў бок, памаўчаць, застацца чалавекам.
Лучший вариант, что ушли на спуске в другую сторону. Вероятность пока сохраняется.
