The circumstances of the death of the legendary Belarusian freestyle coach Nikolai Kozeko have become known, writes betnews.by. He died on August 10 at the age of 76, and before his death, he fell into a short coma.

According to betnews.by, an accident occurred with the coach at his dacha before his death. Kozeko was working there, fell, and lost consciousness. After this, his condition sharply deteriorated, and he fell into a coma.
Despite the efforts of doctors, Nikolai Kozeko did not emerge from the coma. His body could not cope with the consequences of the injuries sustained.
Nikolai Kozeko was one of the most famous and distinguished freestyle coaches not only in Belarus but throughout the world. His students won eight Olympic medals, including four gold.
