Five Best Texts by Contemporary Belarusian Playwrights to be Shown in Warsaw — Free Admission
At the beginning of the year, the shortlist was announced for the Belarusian dramaturgy competition-festival Dramatyzacyja, which is being held for the first time. From 66 plays submitted to the competition, a professional jury selected the top five texts. All of them were written by women playwrights.
Now they will be shown at the festival, which will take place in Warsaw on April 10-11.
In the space «Dom w Alejach — Dom Kultury Śródmieście» (House on the Avenue — Śródmieście Culture House), located at Jerozolimskie Alleys, 2 (al. Jerozolimskie 2), viewers will be able to see readings of the following works:
- «Limbo» by Renata Talan;
- «The Most Real» by Ksenia Shtalyankova;
- «The Last Witness [of old Grodno]» by Amalia Ryznich;
- «Any Place Where Traces Remain» by Maria Byalkovich;
- «The Red Squirrel» by Khasya Korneva.
All of them have been brought to the stage by Belarusian directors and actors.

The Festival of Contemporary Belarusian Dramaturgy Dramatyzacyja is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with current theatrical texts and discover new names in Belarusian theater.
