Belarusian athletes admitted to adult competitions with flag and anthem
The International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics) has lifted restrictions on Russian and Belarusian adult athletes and admitted them to international competitions with their country's flag and anthem.

"In accordance with the decision of the World Aquatics Bureau and in consultation with the Aquatics Integrity Unit and the World Aquatics Athletes' Committee, the guidelines for the participation of athletes in aquatics competitions during a political conflict will no longer apply to adult athletes with Belarusian or Russian sports nationality. Adult athletes with Belarusian or Russian sports nationality will be able to participate in aquatics competitions on par with their peers representing other sports nationalities, in appropriate uniform, with flags and anthems," states the organization's published statement.
