A tragedy nearly occurred with a Belarusian tourist at the Italian resort Marina di Pietrasanta. The 30-year-old woman began to drown while swimming in the sea, writes Nazione.

The incident occurred near 'Eva' beach. Fortunately, what was happening was noticed in time by three lifeguards, who quickly rushed into the water and pulled her to shore.
Immediately after the rescue, beach staff began resuscitation efforts. Shortly thereafter, paramedics arrived at the scene in an ambulance and an emergency medical team. Thanks to the timely assistance, the Belarusian woman regained consciousness.
After receiving first aid, the woman was taken to the emergency department of Versilia Hospital.
Her condition is assessed as moderately severe. Hospitalization was carried out under the so-called "yellow" code, which in Italy means that there is no immediate threat to the patient's life.
