Political prisoner Uladzimir Kniga to be tried for "malicious disobedience" in penal colony for the third time
He had already been given an additional year of imprisonment twice before.

On May 20, political prisoner Uladzimir Kniga will be tried for the third time for "malicious disobedience to the lawful demands of the penal colony administration" (Part 1 of Art. 411 of the Criminal Code) in the Mazyr District Court, writes "Country for Life".
Recall that the former law enforcement officer and volunteer was detained on June 4, 2020. In court, he, like everyone else, pleaded not guilty and stated that the events of May 29, 2020, in Sovetskaya Square in Hrodna during the collection of signatures for Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, were a provocation by Belarusian security agencies.
As a result, Uladzimir was sentenced to four years in a penal colony under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them) and Art. 364 of the Criminal Code (violence or threat of violence against an internal affairs officer).
