Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the construction of a transit gas pipeline through the territory of Armenia.
"Today we already have a railway from east to west, the Akhalkalaki — Kars railway (Georgia — Turkey) has opened for us, a railway through the territory of Azerbaijan has opened, TRIPP ("Trump's Route") will soon open, a gas pipeline will pass through the territory of our country, for this transit we will receive gas," Pashinyan said.
Prime Minister Pashinyan did not provide other details but noted that Armenia would also develop alternative energy.
In addition, the politician stated that a law on starting the EU accession process has been adopted in the country: "While Armenia can simultaneously be a member of the EAEU and continue reforms to achieve European standards, we will follow this path. When the time comes to choose, we will make a choice, we must have an alternative so that no one can say about Armenia: 'Who needs it, where will it go?'" Pashinyan said.
