World number one tennis player Aryna Sabalenka is not going to change her surname after marrying Brazilian Georgios Frangulis. In an interview with the media project First&Red, she explained this by family history.

'I will keep my surname. I have my own history and, thank God, people understand me. I want to inscribe my father's surname into history,' said the world number one.
However, regarding the surname of future children, her position is not as strong.
'But if we ever have children, there will be a fight there. But I'm already losing this battle, so the children will probably be Frangulises,' Aryna added.
28-year-old Sabalenka and 37-year-old Brazilian entrepreneur, founder of the Oakberry chain, Georgios Frangulis, announced their engagement in March.
