A guy from Sharkovshchina left the plumbing he used to methodically steal alone, became a machine gunner, and eventually died near Kupyansk
Aliaksandr Skurat was born in Sharkovshchina, in the village of Boukaly, not far from the village of Stalitsa, the birthplace of the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Ihar Sergeyenka. However, Skurat's fate turned out differently — he laid down his life fighting for Putin.
As Nasha Niva learned, another Belarusian has been declared "missing in action" after an unsuccessful assault on Ukrainian positions near Kupyansk in November 2025.
This was Aliaksandr Skurat, 34 at the time, from the village of Boukaly, Sharkovshchina district.

Skurat did not even have a specialized secondary education and throughout his life was guided only by knowledge acquired in high school.
Until 2013, he calmly worked as a general laborer at Sharkovshchina Agroservice and simultaneously looked for other ways to earn extra money. He found them right in his village: in 2013, according to Belpol, he stole four metal pipes from a well in Boukaly and sold them for scrap. And in 2016 — again in his own village — he broke into a neighbor's house and took a heating boiler from there.
Skurat was fired from his job after his first conviction, and there are no more official employment records.

Living in chronic financial hardship, Skurat, according to acquaintances, saw an opportunity to earn a lot of money quickly by joining the Russian army. As a result, from November 2025, he permanently stopped logging into social networks and responding to relatives. Before that, he sent them a photo of his unit, with which he went to storm a village near Kupyansk.
