Ukraine's Ambassador for Belarus Issues Responds to Vyachorka's Discussion and Tsikhanouskaya's Critics: Your Mutual Intolerance Plays a Very Unconstructive Role

Ukraine's Ambassador for Belarus Issues, Yaroslav Chornohor, sharply reacted to another spat within the Belarusian opposition on Facebook. Diaspora activist Alena Zharkevich, with the help of AI, wrote a manifest in which she expressed outrage over Franak Viachorka's statements on Belsat. He responded to her, which sparked a discussion with 250 comments.
“Perhaps I should create a private chat, and you can sort out your relationships among yourselves? Because your mutual intolerance plays a very unconstructive role,” Chornohor responded, tagging Alena Zharkevich, two other diaspora activists, and Franak Viachorka.
“Alena Zharkevich, for Ukrainians, you are all the opposition to Lukashenka’s regime, so your misunderstandings are incomprehensible to us,” he reiterated.
“If there are representatives of the APC or other organizations on international platforms, I will communicate with all of them. Similarly, in Kyiv, I will communicate with Alena Zharkevich, with you or Aliaksei Frantskevich, as well as with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya or Viktar Babaryka, and with any Belarusian (male or female) who does not demonstrate an anti-Ukrainian position,” Chornohor assured Tatsiana Hatsura-Yavorska.
“If you personally have any questions for Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Franak Viachorka, it does not mean that Ukraine has the same questions for them,” he concluded, responding to a troll.
