Dzianis from Nyasvizh worked at a distillery for ten years. But he found himself and started earning best as the blogger Alkabard

Recently, Dzianis also registered on Threads, where his content is also in demand. However, Alkabard always warns that alcohol harms health and does not recommend repeating his professional tricks without preparation.

The professional approach is no joke: Dzianis Shapiolkin previously worked at an alcohol production plant. He started his blog 10 years ago. "I never thought it would become my profession," Dzianis admits.

The man was born in Minsk in 1976, but now lives in Nyasvizh. He started talking about alcohol on LiveJournal and only later switched to YouTube, from which he received a silver button.

Today, as the blogger himself claims, all distilleries in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia know him.

"I was offered fairly high positions at distilleries, but I refused," he said on his YouTube channel.

Instead of a position at the plants, he chose a blog, which is where he earns his living.

Some of the alcohol he drinks in videos are orders from brands. But Alkabard claims he always films only his genuine reaction to the drinks.

"If I don't like it, I'll say so."

On the YouTuber's channel, you can find tastings of alcoholic beverages from all over the world — there's arrack from Sri Lanka, pomegranate vodka from Baku, and chacha with Calvados. Of course, Belarusian balms, domestic vodka, and fruit and berry wine are also present. Dzianis even advises on how to properly drink different types of alcohol.

There's also room for educational videos — for example, conversations with a narcologist and talks about alcoholism and coding (a form of treatment).

The blogger's grandfather drank heavily, and Dzianis himself tries not to overdo it with vodka.

Recently, subscribers presented the blogger with wheat vodka released in the early 90s. Unfortunately, the specific release date on the bottle had rubbed off.

Dzianis admitted that he was afraid to drink such an exhibit, and not in vain: the main impression from it was a wild hangover.

"I've had very bad vodkas in my life. There was something bad Ukrainian once, Zhytomyr. There was some Russian nastiness, but I've never had such crap. And I haven't had such a hangover in 10 years, not even after moonshine. My recommendation to fans of 'vodka was better / grass was greener in the USSR' is to go there and enjoy. Everything made under the Soviet Union was garbage," Alkabard shared his opinion.

"Vodka in the Soviet Union was terrible. It smells of hopelessness and grayness."

The man is married and has grown children. His wife Iryna also sometimes appears in his videos.
