Mother of an excellent student told about graduation expenses

Homiel blogger Alena Krotava, mother of a student with a red diploma, told how much it cost to prepare her daughter for receiving the red diploma.

Alena says her daughter was among the 24 best students in the country. And she prepared thoroughly for receiving the red diploma.

But the expenses were equivalent to another semester of studies, says Alena. She showed the estimate.

Skirt — 80 rubles, top — 160 rubles.

Shoes for the outfit — sandals for 70 rubles.

Accessories — 35 rubles.

Manicure — 50 rubles, pedicure — 60 rubles.

Eyebrow correction — 40 rubles.

Eyelash extensions — 70 rubles (but they saved on this, as Alena herself is a master here).

Hair and makeup — 250 rubles, but her daughter did it herself, resulting in good savings.

To make the outfit look more impressive, they ordered a self-tanning service — 50 rubles.

The total amounted to 865 Belarusian rubles, not including flowers and taxi expenses.

“I’m certainly not stingy, but the amount turned out to be decent. You could buy a vertical vacuum cleaner or pay for one semester of a master's degree,” says Alena and asks for opinions. “What do you think, is this a lot or a little for an event lasting a few hours of life?”
