Pentagon published a new batch of declassified materials about UFOs

The US Department of Defense has published the fourth batch of declassified materials about unidentified anomalous phenomena. 40 new files have appeared in public access, including documents, video recordings, audio files, and photographs. The materials were provided by the Pentagon, NASA, CIA, FBI, and the US Department of Energy, writes The Moscow Times.

Most of the materials concern observations of unidentified objects over the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, as well as in the Middle East. A significant part of the recordings was made using infrared cameras installed on military equipment.

One of the most interesting documents was a report on a 2015 incident near the Pantex nuclear facility in Texas. According to the document, two security officers observed an unidentified flying object that flew over the territory. They tried to approach it but heard no engine sounds and could not discern any signs that would indicate its origin. After a few minutes, the object disappeared.

The archive also includes video recordings made in 2019 and 2020. One of them shows a small object moving at high speed, and the other shows a dark object about four meters high, drifting with the wind and resembling an unusually shaped balloon.

The newest materials are dated 2025. One report describes a video in which sensors recorded an object resembling a six-pointed star, and another describes a fast-moving light object that was observed for about five minutes.

The publication of these archives is part of a program to declassify materials about unidentified anomalous phenomena, initiated by order of US President Donald Trump. The Pentagon noted that before public release, only information that could reveal the identities of witnesses, the location of secret objects, and other confidential information was removed from the documents.
