Customs officers at the border with Poland found hashish in a gearbox
Employees of Belarusian customs confiscated about two kilograms of hashish during operational search activities. As reported , the drug was brought from Poland and hidden in the car's gearbox.

The detainees claim that they received this part from an unknown person in the territory of a neighboring country and were supposed to hand it over to a resident of Minsk for personal use. They stated that they were unaware of the presence of drugs inside.

During further investigative actions, it was established that two minors were to be the recipients of the cargo.
A criminal case has been initiated against one of the defendants for the illegal movement of narcotic drugs across the customs border. According to the law, he faces up to ten years in prison.

Customs reported that the investigation is ongoing and all possible participants of the transnational criminal group are currently being identified.
