Minsk resident Katsiaryna was walking along the Svislach riverbank near the Stella and saw an animal near the river that was unexpected for such a place. The girl shared this on the social network Threads, writes Blizko.by.
On the Svislach riverbank, the girl saw a beaver. Surprisingly, the animal was not scared by people or the sounds of the busy avenue. The beaver calmly searched for something in the grass and sat on the bank right by the water.
“I've been in forests so many times and never encountered beavers, but here, in the very center of the capital!” — the author wrote in the publication.
In the comments, it was noted that the beaver settled on that bank of the Svislach quite a while ago, but comes out to people after sunset in the late evening.
