Minsk resident paid for a student's travel pass for all types of transport, but found out about it via SMS
A 68-year-old resident of the Oktyabrsky district of Minsk contacted the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs after receiving SMS messages from the bank about purchases he had not made.

Checking his wallet, the man discovered that his bank card was missing, reports "Minsk Police".
Detectives found out that the man had forgotten his card in a kiosk when paying for a bus ticket. A student from a Gomel university, who had come to Minsk to visit, noticed it and took it.
Using someone else's money, she bought a monthly travel pass for all types of transport and also went to a grocery store. After that, she threw away the card.
A criminal case has been initiated for theft of property by modifying computer information. The defendant will have to compensate for the damages – about 100 rubles.
