World War II shells found in river in Grodno district

In the Grodno district, local residents found explosive objects in the Svislach River. It turned out that these were World War II shells, reports the Ministry of Defense.

Divers from the anti-mine center of the Armed Forces and the 557th Engineering Brigade arrived at the scene. Specialists examined a section of the river at a depth of about 2.5 meters, recovered the dangerous finds, and destroyed them on site.
