Zelenskyy Awarded Elon Musk the Order of Freedom

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree awarding the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, the Order of Freedom. The document was published on August 26.

The text of the decree states that the businessman received recognition for "outstanding personal merits in protecting human life and freedom, as well as developing relations between the peoples of Ukraine and the United States."

Starlink from Musk's company remains one of Ukraine's key technological assets in the war with Russia — it provides both communication for the military and real-time drone control for strikes on Russian rear areas.
