Belarusian footballers to play in the first ever U-15 World Championship

191 national team will take part in the tournament.

The large-scale football forum will take place from October 22 to 31 in Azerbaijan, writes BelTA.

In the preliminary stage, the Belarusian youth team, led by Dzmitry Pyatrouski, will play against peers from Botswana, Mali, Peru, Papua New Guinea, and Mongolia.

Matches will be held on reduced-size football pitches, in the format of two halves of 20 minutes, with eight footballers per team.

In total, 191 teams from all over the planet will participate in the competitions and festival.

In the first stage, they will be divided into 32 groups, after which the best teams will continue to compete for awards.

The main part of the matches will take place at the new complex of football pitches in the settlement of Hawsan, while the opening and decisive matches will be held in Baku.

In total, the participants of the competitions will play almost a thousand matches.

All expenses for organizing the large-scale forum – flights, accommodation, meals, medical support, refereeing – have been covered by the International Football Federation.
