Switzerland to review appeal in Yury Harauski's case

On September 22, an appeal in Yury Harauski's case will be considered in Switzerland, writes Euroradio. The former SOBR fighter, who spoke about his involvement in the disappearances of Yury Zakharanka, Viktar Hanchar, and Anatol Krasouski, was previously acquitted by a Swiss court.

Relatives of the disappeared politicians disagreed with the court's decision and are seeking a guilty verdict for Harauski.

In 2023, the court found his testimony insufficiently reliable and acquitted him on charges of enforced disappearances and obstruction of justice.
