The Ministry of Labor explained how Belarusians working in the European Union can avoid being labeled as "parasites"
Belarusian Labor Ministry representative Sergei Katsko explained that Belarusians working in EU countries can be excluded from the "not employed in the economy" database only after registering with the Social Security Fund and paying insurance contributions in Belarus. Then the fund will automatically exclude them from this database.

Those who work within the EAEU, in order not to be considered "parasites," need to submit an employment contract and a certificate from their place of work to the commission for promoting employment. The commission can exclude a person from the database for a period of up to a year, after which they need to submit the documents again.
At the same time, it is not allowed to register with the Social Security Fund online.
Let us remind you that since October, the rules for paying utility bills for homeowners who are considered unemployed in the economy have changed: now increased tariffs are applied not only to the share of the unemployed, but to the entire apartment or house. In November, many Belarusians received significantly larger bills, which caused active discussion on social networks.
