Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Yuri Karayev does not spare money for large-scale reconstructions. Last year in Grodno, they stormed the House of Culture of Textile Workers like the Reichstag; this year, they planned to take the Neman.
As reported by the press service of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, on May 10, a large-scale reconstruction of the liberation of the city, including the forcing of the Neman River, will take place near the Old Bridge in Grodno.
"The reconstruction of the river crossing and the storming of the city besieged by German-fascist invaders will be shown by participants of the Belarusian Military-Historical Club Association "Honor of the Uniform". Last year, they conducted vivid reconstructions of the taking of the Reichstag and the liberation of the city in the Swiss Valley in Grodno," the channel reports.
Recently, Yuri Karayev announced that he dreams of organizing a Mongol-Tatar assault on Mir Castle. He is not bothered by the fact that the castle was built at the beginning of the 16th century, while the Grand Duchy of Lithuania defeated the Tatars and Crusaders a hundred years earlier, at Blue Waters and Grunwald.
