The European Union will allocate €30 million «to support the Belarusian people» in 2026

The European Union has announced continued financial support for Belarusian civil society.

In 2026, 30 million euros will be allocated for these purposes. This was stated by European Commissioner Marta Kos at the conference "Belarus: building foundations for democratic change" in the European Parliament.

A similar amount — 30 million euros — was allocated for 2025.

The total amount of EU assistance to the Belarusian democratic community, starting in 2020, will reach 200 million euros.
