Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the attack. According to his information, two missiles struck the city.
"A terrible Russian strike on Kharkiv... Right on a residential area... Unfortunately, this is how Russians treat life and people — they continue the killings, despite all the world's efforts, and primarily those of the United States, in the diplomatic process. Only Russia does not want this war to end and does everything every day to ensure the war continues," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that this strike once again proves the need to strengthen Ukrainian air defense (AD) and the support for Ukraine from international partners.
