USA to Soon Launch Ground Strikes on Drug Cartel Targets in Venezuela

The United States will soon begin ground strikes on drug cartel targets in Venezuela, American President Donald Trump announced.
"We got rid of 96% of the drugs coming by water. Now we're starting with land — on land it's much easier. It's going to start happening soon. … These will be ground strikes not just in Venezuela, these will be ground strikes against bad people who bring drugs and kill our people," Trump said.
In recent months, the US has been building up forces in the Caribbean, and since September began striking vessels that, according to Washington, are involved in drug trafficking.
