Several Foreigners and Belarusians with Foreign Passports Released
Among the political prisoners released from Belarusian penal colonies on December 13, there are at least several individuals who are citizens of other countries.

Maria Batalyonok, a Lithuanian citizen of Belarusian origin, has been released. She was sentenced to 4 years for her involvement in the project 'City Garden Maris Mar'.
Raman Haluza is also among those released. He is a Polish citizen convicted of 'treason'.
Aliaksandr Syrytsa, a basketball referee and an Australian citizen of Belarusian origin, has also been released.

Hanna Sakalenka, a Latvian citizen, has also been released. She was sentenced to 7 years for 'agent activity'.
