A shocking case of animal cruelty occurred in Mogilev. The bodies of homeless puppies were found on one of the city's streets, police report.

It soon became clear that the atrocity was committed by a 53-year-old local resident. The man was detained, but he could not explain the motive for his actions.
The perpetrator faces arrest or restriction of liberty for a period of up to two years.
