The Power of TikTok. Woman Complains About Slow Internet from "Beltelecom" — They Suddenly Reacted
A Belarusian woman recorded a video showing the low internet speed from a well-known provider. Because of it, downloading movies for Christmas evening was impossible.

Polina, a Belarusian woman, complained about the low internet speed from the operator RUE "Beltelecom" on her TikTok account. According to her, she purchased a tariff under a new promotion that promised to increase internet speed. But this online package did not meet her expectations.
On the evening of December 25, the woman noticed that the promised promotion did not improve the quality of the network at all. The movie she planned to watch would not load. Here's how the author of the video herself comments on the situation:
"Dear Beltelecom, I address you with gratitude. That this Christmas evening I do not have the opportunity to watch my favorite musical 'Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka'. All thanks to your high-speed internet and 'great' promotions 'Pay five rubles extra and get even faster internet'. Thank you for your speed, customer orientation! And the fact that a technician will only come if we agree to this great promotion. Thank you, Beltelecom. Goodbye, Beltelecom," she notes.
A few days after the video was published on TikTok, representatives of "Beltelecom" contacted the woman from Minsk and offered her a solution to the problem.
As a result, an employee replaced the router, and the internet, as the woman herself says, started working. Videos and other heavy files began to download well, though not as perfectly as she had hoped.
The author of the video is happy with the result, but she wondered why publicizing the issue on TikTok was necessary to solve the problem, and why simple phone calls to the operator are no longer sufficient.
A similar incident with "Beltelecom" is not the first.
Previously, Belarusians have repeatedly complained about the quality of services from the operator "Beltelecom". The main problems they faced were "lagging" television and internet, and constant communication failures.
Here's how Belarusians comment on the operator's work under the Minsk woman's video:
"They don't pull anything for us, only money."
"Both 'Beltelecom' and mobile communication — just hug and cry. It's unclear what we're paying for. Probably for our own nerves."
"'Beltelecom' has different tariffs, but the same speed. They just extort money from people."
The Ministry of Communications, in turn, acknowledges problems with internet quality. But they note that the whole problem lies in the fact that "the infrastructure simply cannot keep up". Problems are exacerbated by the construction of high-rises without essential mobile infrastructure, metallized windows that suppress the signal by 1000 times, a shortage of frequencies and base stations, as well as outdated networks in district centers and villages.
The complete elimination of the problem throughout the country is promised only by 2030.

Либо падишах (белтелеком), либо ишак (подданные лукашенко -народец), ждём 2030 года, те, кто останется жив ждёт.
Белтелеком устроился знатно, за счёт абонентов и их устройств, обеспечивает работу своей вай-фай сети, из-за этого скорости абонетов вай-фая и близко не соответствуют тарифу, даже в 20см от роутера.
Плюс надо решать проблему тотального контроля и слежки за абонентами, в рамках узаконенного беззакония шведа и лукашенко. Плюс надо всех и всё охватить системой DPI, и всё, это, подружить меж собою.
