A living Nativity scene has again been set up in the Kolozha Church in Grodno. A sheep, a goat, and two lambs have settled there.

The animals were brought from an agrotourism complex for Orthodox Christmas — this tradition has existed for several years.

The Nativity scene conveys the atmosphere of events that took place two thousand years ago, and reminds us that the infant Jesus was born not in a palace, but in the Bethlehem cave, next to animals, quietly and humbly.
