This is not just a protocol visit, but a symbolic gesture that emphasizes the unity of four nations and their readiness to defend their freedom and independence together. The special significance of the moment is underscored by the fact that January 25 is Volodymyr Zelenskyy's birthday.
It was in Vilnius, on Lukiškės Square, that the leaders of the uprising, including the Belarusian national hero Kastus Kalinouski, were executed. In 2019, their miraculously found remains, discovered as a result of a landslide on Gediminas Hill, were solemnly reburied in the chapel at Rasos Cemetery.

On January 24, the memory of the insurgents was honored in Warsaw. Wreaths were laid by the Presidents of Poland and Lithuania, Karol Nawrocki and Gitanas Nausėda. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Pavel Latushka also participated in the ceremony.

The name of Kastus Kalinouski is borne by the regiment of Belarusian volunteers in Ukraine.
