Deputy General Director for Production and Ideological Work of LLC "MAZ-Kupava" Vladimir Ananyev says that the motorhome is not a new product for them. For example, they previously produced the "Exclusive" motorhome and the "Kupava-822002" trailer.
To create the current motorhome, several focus groups were assembled to understand what the market truly needs.
«The focus groups included people aged 15 to 50: company employees, bloggers, teenagers, avid travelers from Belarus and neighboring countries. We were interested in what people want to see in a motorhome and what they are willing to give up.»
The MAZ-365 chassis, popularly known as "tadpole", became the basis of the motorhome.
«It has a number of important advantages. Firstly, the vehicle's mass is up to 3.5 tons, which means a Category B driving license is sufficient. At the same time, the factory has included a cargo delta of up to 4.2 tons, providing additional payload. Secondly, the 6-speed manual transmission ensures better maneuverability.»
Under the hood of the motorhome, a JAC HFC4DE1-1D engine is installed. It is a Euro-5 class 2.7-liter inline diesel engine with 150 hp. Fuel consumption on the road is 11 liters per 100 km.
When reverse gear is engaged, a 360° surround view camera system is activated, allowing you to see not only the space behind the vehicle but also the side zones within a 0.5-meter range from the motorhome.
The Belarusian motorhome is also equipped with cruise control, air conditioning, air and independent heaters, an electric gas boiler, power windows, and a "smart home" system (however, there is no Belarusian or Russian language on the control panel).
The development process of the "Kupava-273140" motorhome took one year. It was created by a team of young employees (all under 35 years old).
The price is currently unknown.
«The vehicle has not yet gone on sale; we are currently undergoing certification. The price of the basic configuration will be known upon completion of this stage. We hope to do this very soon. I can assure you: the price will be within market limits!» — says Vladimir Ananyev.
The portal av.by suggests that the cost of "Kupava-273140" will be around 200 thousand rubles.
As Vladimir Ananyev reported, demand for the Belarusian motorhome is already abnormally high.
«In the first two hours after the initial publication, we received over 200 calls. And their number is not decreasing. Some have even come in person to talk and see the new product with their own eyes. Naturally, everyone is interested in the price and financial instruments with which the motorhome can be purchased.»

The motorhome also has a pass-through trunk. Inside, buyers will find a brazier, a cauldron, folding chairs, an awning, and even a board game.
Inside — ample space, eco-leather trim and furniture in light tones, panoramic windows. The motorhome is designed for a family of four.
Opposite the bathroom is the kitchen. A four-burner gas stove, a pull-out cooking table, a sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, and necessary kitchen utensils.
There are several outlets near the headboard, USB and Type-C connectors, movable reading lamps for nighttime. Bed linen for sleeping areas is also included.
