A Belarusian woman recounted on social networks how she had to give birth on the day of the so-called presidential elections in 2025. The coercive electoral system reached the woman at the most unsuitable moment for it.
The woman was in a pre-delivery room and suffered from extremely strong contractions.
According to her, she literally screamed in pain throughout the entire ward. It was at this time that an entire delegation with a ballot box entered the room — «many different people in suits».
A woman, a member of the commission, seeing the suffering of the expectant mother, suggested that the others leave her alone, but the man from the group was adamant.
«One woman among those who came saw my condition and said to the others: 'Oh, maybe we shouldn't'. And the man next to her: 'It's nothing, nothing, the contractions will pass quickly, and she'll make her mark'. They thrust a pen and a ballot into her hands. She voted, crying and screaming,» — the woman wrote and added an emoji.
The heroine of the story admits that she will never forget this day.
